WHAT IS SPORTS THERAPY AND HOW CAN IT BENEFIT ME?

Sports therapy is more then just massage, we aim to improve your quality of life by helping to reduce your pain.  Sports Therapy incorporate many varied techniques, such as deep tissue massage, soft tissue release, muscle energy techniques, PNF/PIR, STR, trigger point therapy & positional release, which can increase the blood flow that is needed for recovery, it can improve the range of motion & strength of injured muscles & accelerate their healing process.
 

I know all to well the toll of all the hours spent behind a desk and/or training has on my body, everyday it all mounts up & you may start to notice them little niggling pains & strains that you have no idea what could have coursed them. Left unchecked these niggling aches & pains can turn into a serious injury. Incorporating a regular Sports Therapy treatments into your daily life can ease muscular & joint pain, prevent injuries & improve posture, muscular function & ultimately performance.


Every client will receive a full consultation upon your first visit or home visit & mini consultation on subsequent visits. After treatment another consultation to check for any improvements in pain & range of motion (ROM). Included in the price.

The consultation has been put together for us to get a better understanding of you, your day to day activities, any relevant medical history, hobbies, exercise, etc. As well as to discuss the pain/discomfort/problems you may be feeling/have. An assessment will be carried out looking any musculoskeletal imbalances that may be the course of the problem, enabling us to be able to better treat you & help give you a better quality of life.
